| DICOM PACS Broker &
Modality Worklist |
HL7 and DICOM PACS Broker.
The broker captures orders from an existing
RIS or HIS system and deposits them to a DICOM
modality worklist. The backend stores HL7
reports and makes them available to the PACS
system. Open source so customization is easy.
In simple terms if you want a completely integrated
RIS/ PACS system Modality worklist will eliminate
the need for your Modality Tech to have to
enter in patient and exam information at the
modality level. The information will automatically
be populated on the modality from the modality
worklist server. Which is a stand alone computer
that gets it’s information from the
RIS. This helps avoid time of the Tech spent
entering the information more than once and
also prevents disorganization/ lost studies
due human typographical errors.
Note: Your modality must have & support
MDWL to utilize a DICOM Modality Work List.
